I'm Gonna Do Something
So, here’s the deal. I’ve been working with Left Handed Radio for over a year and it has been a privilege and a joy writing, performing and learning how to produce a motherfucking podcast with that ragtag team of dreamers.
However, it has just occurred to me that, although we’ve had lots of lady guests on the show, they’ve usually been there to lend only their vocal talents. We’ve had maybe three contributing female writers since the show’s premiere. I know there’s more than three female sketch writers out there.
I propose the following:
If you are a lady who has written a great audio sketch, BRING IT TO ME. Together, we will cast, record and produce it. Then, I will weave it into a compilation of sketches exclusively written by female comedians. I think it will be fun and all you have to do is contact me, and, you know, not be all weird about it.
